Working Principle
Putting the raw materials into the main extraction tank is the first step in the extraction process. Solvents, like water, ethanol, or mixes of the two, are added based on the chemicals you want to work with.
Cell Wall Disruption Phase
At 20–40 kHz, ultrasonic tools make cavitation bubbles. When these very small bubbles pop, they break through cell walls and release sugars inside the cells into the solvent. It's possible for this mechanical action to happen without making too much heat.
Temperature-Controlled Extraction
A heat fluid that flows through the jacketed tank keeps the temperature exactly where it should be. For substances that can't handle high temperatures, like beta-glucans, you work at 40–60°C with a partial vacuum. In addition to keeping molecules from breaking down, this lowers the boiling point of the solvent.
Solid-Liquid Separation
When the extraction is done, the blend is sent to filter units that are built in. Filters with multiple stages get rid of plant matter and proteins, leaving behind clear extract liquor. When solutions are thick, high-torque agitators make sure they run easily without pump cavitation.
Concentration & Purification
The solution that has been filtered goes into vacuum evaporators, which are cold places where the liquid disappears. The highly concentrated extract has more carbohydrates, and the recovered solvents go back to the storage tanks through the purification tower, which achieves a recovery efficiency of 90–95%.
Alcohol Precipitation (Optional)
Chilled ethanol separates the basic carbohydrates to make them even purer. Low temperatures of -18°C are reached by the cooling jacket, which separates polysaccharides from small molecular pollutants.

Process Flow
Stage 1: Material Preparation
↓
Raw materials undergo cleaning and size reduction before loading into the extraction tank through top-mounted ports.
Stage 2: Solvent Addition & Heating
↓
PLC system automatically doses solvents according to preset solid-liquid ratios. Heating begins with continuous temperature monitoring.
Stage 3: UAE Activation
↓
Ultrasonic generators activate once target temperature is reached. Extraction proceeds for 24–40 minutes with programmable pulsing patterns.
Stage 4: Filtration
↓
Extract transfers via lobe pumps through inline filters. Residues discharge automatically through bottom valves.
Stage 5: Concentration
↓
Vacuum evaporator removes excess solvent while condenser captures vapors for recovery.
Stage 6: Final Processing
↓
Concentrated extract undergoes alcohol precipitation (if required), secondary filtration, and collection in sterile containers.
Stage 7: CIP Cleaning
↓
360° spray balls execute automated acid/alkali washing cycles without equipment disassembly.
Application Fields
Pharmaceutical Bio-Fermentation
Compounds that help the immune system can be taken out of Reishi, Cordyceps, and Turkey Tail mushrooms. For processing medicinal fungi, the tools can handle long extraction processes with high solid-to-liquid ratios.
Functional Food Manufacturing
Astragalus, Goji berries, and aloe vera are all plant-based ingredients that need to be handled carefully. Our method keeps the purity of bioactive compounds and handles the high-viscosity hydrocolloids that are common in mucilage extraction.
Marine Nutraceuticals
Specialized anti-corrosive setups can handle salty surroundings if you process seaweed for Fucoidan or Alginates. The polysaccharides extraction machine cleans extracts so they can be used in food supplement recipes.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Dual-ultrasonic setups help the active ingredients dissolve faster, which is good for you. The system can handle lab research and development all the way up to full-scale factory production.
Cosmetic Ingredient Production
Pure, stable polysaccharides are needed in your beauty products. Controlled extraction temperatures protect the chemical structures that keep skin hydrated and fight age.
Beverage Industry
Plants can be used to get natural thickeners and supports. The clean design follows strict rules for preparing food and has cleaning methods that have been tested and proven to work.

Quality Certification
Xi'an Bioland Instrument keeps strict quality standards that are backed up by foreign certifications:
- ISO 9001 is a quality management system certification that makes sure that factory methods are always the same.
- European compliance marking that confirms safety and health standards is called CE certification.
- GMP Compliance: The design, materials, and function all meet the standards set by Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for medicinal uses.
- The FDA's rules: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration rules are followed when building the equipment and keeping the records.
Regular audits by outside parties are done at our production site. Each product comes with all the paperwork you need, like material certificates, pressure vessel records (if needed), and methods for making sure the machine works right.

FAQ
Q: How does your system prevent thermal degradation of active compounds?
A: We utilize vacuum low-temperature concentration technology. Under vacuum conditions, water boils at approximately 45–50°C rather than 100°C. This preserves heat-sensitive polysaccharides while maintaining extraction efficiency.
Q: Can the machine handle both water extraction and ethanol precipitation?
A: Absolutely. Our multi-functional design includes jacketed tanks supporting hot water reflux extraction. The same vessel features cooling jackets for subsequent ethanol precipitation—no transfer between separate units needed.
Q: What solvent recovery rate should I expect?
A: High-efficiency configurations with integrated rectification towers achieve 90–95% ethanol recovery. This dramatically reduces your operating costs, especially important for large-scale commercial production.
Q: How do you manage high-viscosity residues?
A: We equip systems with high-torque scraping agitators and wide-channel lobe pumps. These components specifically handle viscous slurries without cavitation or motor overload—common problems with standard centrifugal pumps.
Q: What cleaning protocols are supported?
A: Every unit includes 360° rotary spray balls connected to CIP stations. Automated acid/alkali washing cycles reach all internal surfaces without disassembly. This ensures validation compliance for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Q: Do you provide installation and training?
A: Yes. Our turnkey service includes workshop layout planning, equipment installation, operational commissioning, and comprehensive technical training for your team. We ensure smooth technology transfer.
Q: What's the typical lead time for customized systems?
A: Customized configurations require approximately 30 business days from order confirmation. Standard models ship within 5–7 business days. We provide weekly progress updates throughout manufacturing.
Q: Which materials contact the product?
A: All product-contact surfaces use SUS316L stainless steel with Ra ≤ 0.4µm surface finish. This prevents bacterial adhesion and resists corrosion from acidic or alkaline extraction solvents.
