Working Principle
Advanced thermal concepts are used by our condenser to make evaporation gentle and effective. Simply follow these steps:
Vacuum Creation
The room pressure drops by a huge amount when a high-performance vacuum pump is used. This makes your liquids' boiling point lower, which lets them evaporate at temperatures well below those found in the air.
Controlled Heating
The warmth stays just right with PID-controlled heating coats or built-in heat pump systems. Your set limits are never exceeded by the system, which keeps sensitive chemicals safe from thermal stress.
Efficient Mass Transfer
Customized jar shape makes the most of the surface area of the liquid. The vacuum climate speeds up the evaporation of molecules and stops oxidation and other unwanted chemical processes.
Condensation & Recovery
The liquids that have evaporated are sent to a special cooling device. They turn back into liquids here and are ready to be used again. With this closed-loop method, more than 95% of the useful liquids are captured, which cuts down on trash and costs.
Anti-Foaming Technology
Modern devices that stop bumping keep liquid surfaces solid. The chance of cross-contamination goes down a lot whether you're working with toxic organics or biological data.

Process Flow
Step 1: Sample Loading
Put your mix into the jar for evaporation. The system can handle different amounts, from millilitres in a lab to large batches in a commercial setting.
Step 2: Parameter Setting
The PLC's easy-to-use screen lets you enter the goal temperature and vacuum level. The system saves your codes so that they can be used again and again.
Step 3: Set up the vacuum
The pump takes the air out of the cylinder. Monitoring the pressure in real time makes sure that everything is perfect before the heating starts.
Step 4: Evaporation under control
Solvent evaporation starts with gentle heating. As the process goes on, sensors keep changing settings to keep things stable.

Step 5: Get the solvent back.
In the cooling system, vapours cool down. The recovered solvent is put in a different jar until it can be checked for quality and used again.
Step 6: Finishing the concentration
The system will let you know when the desired concentration level is reached. While the machine gets ready for the next batch, let your concentrated product go.
Step 7: Clean the CIP (optional).
Turn on the automatic Clean-in-Place cycle for GMP uses. Spray balls and self-draining shapes make sure that all waste is removed completely between runs.
Application Fields
Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing
Upstream processing fluids that contain DNA/RNA, monoclonal antibodies, and other proteins should be concentrated using a low temperature vacuum concentrator. Keep the bioactivity while the buffer and liquid are being taken out of the filtration steps.
Natural Product Extraction
Use plant products to make nutraceuticals and makeup. Our tools can handle stevia, propolis, curcumin, and mushroom products without changing the active ingredients.
Food & Beverage Industry
Make fruit drinks, flavourings, and scented oils more concentrated. Vacuum action keeps terpenes and esters from oxidizing, which keeps the original flavours without turning brown.
Chemical Synthesis
Take away chemical solvents from reaction mixes, such as DMSO, DMF, and dichloromethane. Get back useful chemicals while keeping temperature-sensitive intermediates safe.
Environmental Compliance
Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) uses are used to clean up industry wastewater. Metalworking fluids and polishing solutions can be concentrated to cut the amount of sludge by up to 90%.
Pharmaceutical R&D
Lab-scale units help with the development and creation of APIs. During the drug finding process, rapid processing lets iterations happen more quickly.
Specialty Chemicals
Handle unique chemicals that are very valuable and need to be processed carefully. Custom materials, like Titanium and Hastelloy, can stand up to harsh chemical conditions.

Quality Certification
Xi'an Bioland Instrument has strict quality standards for all of its production processes:
- ISO certification: Our quality control system makes sure that our products are always of the highest standard.
- CE Compliance: Safety measures and electrical parts meet European standards
- GMP Design: The way the equipment is set up meets the standards of Good Manufacturing Practice
- Factory Testing: Using advanced detection methods, each unit is put through a vacuum leak integrity test.
- Material Verification: Positive Material Identification (PMI) shows that the metal meets the requirements for protection to corrosion.
- Performance Qualification: Before shipping, real-world modelling tests are used to confirm evaporation rates and energy use.
We keep track of all test results and give you full qualification packages to back up your validation methods.

FAQ
Q: How does the system handle foaming samples during concentration?
A: Our equipment incorporates specialized bumping prevention technology. The design controls surface tension to minimize foam formation and prevent sample loss or cross-contamination during processing.
Q: Can you concentrate high-boiling point solvents effectively?
A: Absolutely. While solvents like DMSO boil at high temperatures atmospherically, our vacuum system reduces pressure below 10 mbar. This depresses DMSO's boiling point to approximately 40-50°C, enabling safe evaporation without thermal damage.
Q: What maintenance does the vacuum pump require?
A: For oil-free diaphragm pumps, we recommend inspection every 3,000 operating hours. Rotary vane pumps need oil changes every 500-1,000 hours depending on solvent exposure. We specify acid-resistant pumps for corrosive applications to extend service life.
Q: How does your system compare to standard rotary evaporators?
A: Our heat pump models capture condensation's latent heat and recycle it to the evaporation side. This achieves a Coefficient of Performance (COP) exceeding 4, delivering significantly higher energy efficiency than rotary evaporators relying solely on external heating baths.
Q: Is the equipment compatible with automated cleaning protocols?
A: Yes. Industrial models feature spray ball systems and self-draining geometry designed for Clean-in-Place (CIP) cycles. This ensures complete residue removal between batches in GMP-compliant environments.
Q: What lead times can I expect for orders?
A: Standard configurations ship within 5-7 business days. Customized solutions typically require 30 business days. We provide weekly progress updates throughout production.
Q: Do you offer installation and training support?
A: Certainly. Our turnkey service includes on-site installation, commissioning, and comprehensive operator training. Technical support continues throughout your equipment's operational life.
