Jacketed Agitated Reactor – Precision Chemical Processing Equipment
Our reactor has been making high-quality chemicals for over 15 years and is used in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and fine chemical industries for precisely controlled chemical synthesis, polymerization, and crystallization. Each jacketed agitated reactor is made of GG17 borosilicate glass, which is very resistant to weathering and lets you see the whole reaction process. Our systems can work in temperatures ranging from -80°C to 250°C and come with motion systems that can be changed and PLC control that can be added if needed. We only sell reactors that have been cleared by CE, ISO, UL, and SGS. They also have to meet strict GMP/FDA guidelines. We can help you whether you need R&D tools for a lab or a tester system for mass production. Our unique wait times are 30 days, and we offer full upkeep support for life.

Working Principle
Synchronized temperature and mechanical control make your jacketed agitated reactor work. Heating and cooling fluid moves through the outer covering, exactly controlling the temperature inside the tank. Meanwhile, the mechanical stirrer creates dynamic shear forces that make the mixing more even, speed up mass transfer, and keep hot spots and settling from happening.
The jacket constantly removes heat to stop thermal runaway when exothermic processes are happening. Consistent warmth is provided for endothermic processes. Determine the best agitator type for your fluid's viscosity and mixing strength by choosing an anchor, ribbon, or turbine agitator.
Available vacuum systems work with the reactor to improve the efficiency of evaporation and return. Monitors for temperature, pH, and pressure all work together smoothly for real-time viewing. The synchronized method makes sure that the reactions are all the same, that the yield is ideal, and that the stability from batch to batch is maintained.

Why Choose Us?Certified Quality You Can Trust
Each of our reactors has been approved by CE, ISO, UL, and SGS. We make sure that your processes run safely and efficiently by putting each unit through strict hydrostatic pressure tests and weld integrity checks.
Transparent Process Control
To see the response happening right now, the glass dish is clear. Because it's open, tests can be done more often and changes in the process can be found more quickly.

Superior Material Engineering
We use borosilicate glass GG17, which is of high quality and doesn't react with acids, bases, or chemical agents. There's no chance that your things will get dirty, so they stay clean.
Safety-First Design
Our motors make little noise and don't spark. They have two closing methods. The lift-and-rotate design keeps operating risks to a minimum as you go about your daily tasks.
Flexible Customization
Need a specific method for stirring? We have setups with anchors, paddles, and turbines. You can change the speed, temperature ranges, and power settings to fit your process needs exactly.
Complete Automation Options
Add explosion-proof systems, PLC controls, and lift-and-rotate tasks that are done automatically. Our modular method can be changed to fit your needs for output.

Professional Project Support
Your dedicated specialist tracks production weekly with photos and videos. You stay informed every step of the way, from fabrication to final inspection.
Full-Service Integration
Along with reactors, we also develop full process lines that include ultrasonic extraction, peptide synthesis, vacuum distillation, filtration, crystallization, and the absorption of exhaust gases. All of this is done by a single, expert partner.

Fast Delivery & Warranty
It takes 5–7 days to ship standard models, and 30 business days to ship unique options. Every product comes with a quality guarantee that lasts for one year and servicing that lasts a lifetime.

Application Fields
Pharmaceutical API Synthesis
With precise cooling steps, you can control the hardening process. Keep the crystal sizes spread out while the stirrer stops them from sticking together. Scratch-resistant standards are met by electropolished surfaces.
Polymer Resin Production
Deal with big increases in viscosity during polymerization. Helical ribbon impellers and wall scrapers keep the heat away and keep the product from burning on the walls of the tank.
Fine Chemical Hydrogenation
Use gas-induction impellers to work under high pressure. These bring hydrogen back from the air into the liquid phase, which increases mass transfer while the jacket controls heat loss.
Biotech & Fermentation
Make places that are completely clean for growing cells and making enzymes. Biomolecules that are sensitive are kept safe by gentle shaking.
Food & Beverage Processing
Mix syrups, emulsions, and seasonings together. Food-grade ingredients make sure that the product is safe and that it follows the rules.
Cosmetics Manufacturing
Controlled mixing lets you make creams, lotions, and serums that all have the same thickness and stay stable.
Petrochemical & Fuel Production
Handle safely high-viscosity intermediates and processes that need a lot of heat.
New Materials Development
In controlled settings, play around with nanomaterials, specialty chemicals, and advanced alloys.
Quality Certification
Xi'an Bioland Instrument holds comprehensive certifications to guarantee your equipment meets international standards:
- CE Certification: European conformity for safety and health requirements
- ISO Certification: Quality management systems verified
- UL Approval: Safety standards for electrical components
- SGS Inspection: Third-party verification of materials and construction
- GMP/FDA Compliance: Design, materials, and production meet pharmaceutical manufacturing standards

Every reactor undergoes:
- Positive Material Identification (PMI) tests
- Radiographic and Dye Penetrant weld inspections
- Independent hydrostatic pressure testing of vessel and jacket
- Mechanical seal leakage rate validation
- Surface profilometry to verify cleanability specifications

FAQ
Q1: How do I choose between Half-Pipe and Dimple jackets?
Choose Half-Pipe for large reactors (>5,000L) and high-pressure steam heating due to superior structural rigidity. Dimple jackets cost less and work well for smaller vessels requiring uniform cooling.
Q2: Can your reactor handle variable batch volumes?
Yes. We design low-level impellers or multi-stage agitation systems to ensure effective mixing even when batch volume is low.
Q3: What sealing options prevent leakage of toxic materials?
We recommend double mechanical seals with pressurized barrier fluid (Plan 53A) or magnetic drive couplings for zero-leakage applications.
Q4: How do you prevent fouling on heat transfer surfaces?
PTFE or metal scrapers attach to anchor agitators, continuously cleaning the inner wall to maintain heat transfer efficiency.
Q5: What determines mixing time in these reactors?
Mixing time depends on the impeller's pumping capacity and your fluid viscosity. We use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) during design to predict and optimize this.
Q6: Do you offer on-site installation support?
Yes. Our engineering team provides remote guidance or on-site commissioning based on your project requirements.
Q7: Can I see the reactor before shipment?
Absolutely. We provide detailed photos and videos for remote inspection, or you can schedule a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at our facility.
