Working Principle

Steam Distillation Process
Peppermint biomass, either fresh or dry, is put into the extraction box. Either directly or through a jacket heating device, steam is added. When steam goes through plant matter, it breaks open oil glands and lifts volatile chemicals like menthol, menthone, and terpenes into the air.
Vapor Condensation
The oily steam rises to a condenser that has a drainage system for cool water. Vapour turns back into liquid when the temperature drops quickly. There is both vital oil and water in this vapour.
Intelligent Separation
The liquid goes into a Florentine flask separator as it moves. It floats to the top because peppermint oil is not as thick as water. The divider instantly pulls up clean oil while water drains out of the bottom.
Temperature Protection
Our jacketed lining keeps menthol from crystallizing while it's being moved. The whole device keeps the oil fluid at the right temperature until it can be collected.

Process Flow
Step 1: Material Preparation
Load fresh or dried peppermint leaves into the extraction vessel. Optimal moisture content is 10-15% for best results.
Step 2: Heating Initialization
Select your heating method (electric or steam). The system gradually raises temperature to distillation point while pressure stabilizes.
Step 3: Steam Generation

Steam penetrates plant material evenly. The dual extraction system supports both water-separate and co-water methods depending on your product requirements.
Step 4: Vapor Collection
Oil-rich vapors rise through the column and enter the condensation unit. Temperature sensors ensure optimal cooling rates.
Step 5: Continuous Separation
Condensate flows automatically to the separator. Pure peppermint oil collects in the upper chamber while water drains continuously.
Step 6: Quality Collection
Transfer purified oil to storage containers. The transparent design lets you visually monitor oil clarity and color throughout the process.
Step 7: CIP Cleaning
After extraction, activate the Clean-In-Place system to prepare equipment for the next batch and prevent cross-contamination.
